On November 21, 2025, a seminar-training titled “Application of the SCAFFOLD Methodology in Lesson Planning” was held as part of the General Education Subjects Week.
The SCAFFOLD methodology is a modern and innovative tool that enables educators to effectively structure the learning process, systematically plan lessons, and achieve specific learning outcomes. The unique toolkit includes more than 100 cards and is suitable for teachers of all disciplines. It is designed to enhance teachers’ creativity, support informed decision-making in lesson planning, increase student engagement, and ensure objective assessment of learning outcomes.
During the seminar-training, participants were introduced to the SCAFFOLD card set and received practical recommendations and real-life examples. Various strategies for lesson planning, effective teaching methods, and approaches to using assessment criteria were explored. In addition, participants shared their experiences and discussed creative ideas.
The seminar-training was organized by College Director Moldir Anvarkhanovna Islamova, mathematics teacher Mira Tursynovna Akhmetkaliyeva, foreign language teacher Svetlana Alekseevna Shcherba, and history teacher Asem Zhanatkanovna Andabekova. Their professional organization and pedagogical expertise made a significant contribution to the success of the seminar and the enhancement of participants’ practical skills.
This seminar-training served not only as an opportunity to learn new methodological tools but also as an important platform for strengthening professional connections, exchanging experience, and further improving the educational process.
