Took 3rd place in a volleyball competition among colleges of Taldykorgan
On February 18, 2020, at 15:30, a literary and musical evening titled “The Great Abai of a Great Nation” was held at the college to mark the 175th anniversary of Abai Kunanbayev. The event was organized by Kazakh language and literature teacher Suimkhan Imashkyzy Zharkimbayeva and librarian Rysgul Baltabaykyzy Isabekova.
As part of the event, a book exhibition titled “Abai — the soul of Kazakh literature” was arranged. The exhibition featured 22 encyclopedias, works of Abai Kunanbayev, his portrait, the “Anyz Adam” magazine, the article by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. Tokayev “Abai and Kazakhstan in the 21st Century,” as well as visual materials and aphorisms. Teachers and students showed great interest in the exhibition.
During the evening, a video about Abai’s life was presented, and his 19th, 31st, and 32nd Words of Edification were introduced and explained. Student Akbota Sabyrzhanova from group T11P performed the song “Zhelsiz tünde zharıq ai.” In addition, a theatrical performance depicting the memories of Uassila, the granddaughter of Magauiya who was raised by Abai, was staged.
At the end of the event, a representative of the college administration, Raushan Uysinovna Appasova, expressed gratitude to the organizers and participants, noting the high level of the literary and musical evening.
