A meeting was held among students on the topics of prevention of offenses, ludomania (gambling addiction), bullying, and anti-drug awareness
On May 30, 2025, within the framework of the professional module, a master class titled “Confectionery Decorator” was conducted for students of groups S34P, S33P, S32P and T11K enrolled in the “Catering Organization” specialty (qualification “Confectionery Decorator”).
The event aimed to assess not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills. Future confectioners demonstrated a high level of professionalism by presenting modern, stylish and high-quality products.
The master class tasks included:
— preparation of bento cakes;
— creation of mastic decorations on the theme “Flora and Fauna”;
— development of creative designs in line with modern trends, with emphasis on taste and visual presentation.
Evaluation criteria included taste, style, creativity, product quality and compliance with current confectionery trends.
The evaluation committee consisted of experienced professionals and industry representatives:
A.T. Suleimenova — chef at “Happy Cake” confectionery;
E.V. Sorokina — head of “ELENA” confectionery workshop;
M.E. Alimzhan — head chef at “Green Villa Hotel Spa”;
special guest — Alexander Smirnov, head chef of “Nomad” restaurant;
Ainura Bolatkhanqyzy — director of Ainyra’s Bakery and professional confectioner, who inspired students and shared practical expertise.
The master class was conducted by D.A. Astaubayeva, a teacher of specialized disciplines.
The event was supervised by:

As a result, all students received high scores ranging from 85 to 100 points, successfully demonstrating their competencies. Those who achieved “excellent” results in the practical component proved their readiness for professional work.
